4-Day Gorilla Trekking & Lake Bunyonyi Safari

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing, then begin your gorilla trek, which can take 2 to 7 hours depending on the location of the family. Spend a magical hour with the gorillas once located. Return to your lodge for relaxation. In the afternoon, you may opt for a cultural walk to visit the Batwa pygmies.

After breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, known for its calm waters and terraced hills. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing boat ride to explore the lake’s scenic islands and rich birdlife. Optional activities include canoeing, swimming (bilharzia-free), or a guided community walk.

After a relaxed breakfast by the lakeside, begin the drive back to Kampala or Kigali, with lunch en route and scenic stopovers. Arrival in the evening marks the end of your safari.
